I got a new toy in the mail today - a flash! I decided that if I was going to keep this up, I needed to own one. And man is it fun. Being able to put the light wherever you want it changes everything. This shot is lit from below in a dark room. It's of a statue of 2 ballerinas that my mom had. I love how the light hits the face of the girl on the right, and also bounced off the ceiling and got a bit of the tutus illuminated.
