At the Vietnamese grocery store where I shot the reflective pots photo, I bought a dragon fruit. Ever since I first tried them when I was in Thailand six years ago, I've loved them. It's not that they're that tasty; they taste a lot like a bland kiwi. They're just so pretty!
Really recommend checking it out big and on black, or else you miss some of the detail.
I shot this with my 10x macro adapter. They're the niftiest thing ever - they basically put a magnifying glass on your lens, which allows you to get up close and personal and shoot macro - without dropping $800!
PS- my photo yesterday made it to the front page of Flickr. It's my most popular photo yet. I'm almost famous now!
