The training is finally over. What a great group of people. We went up to Capitol Hill today, to have a rally and lobby for more funding for global AIDS. We delivered petitions and cups of coffee to Speaker Pelosi to "wake her up" to growing waiting lists for AIDS treatment in developing countries. Here, Raphia, an amazing woman from Philly, signs her petition before heading in to hand over her cup of coffee.
Of all the pictures I took today, I like this one the best, artistically. I like the composition and the fact that the point of the pen is in focus.
Tomorrow, I'm taking the day off!
